KleptoSlug at European Researchers’ Night 2026

On September 25th, MP2Lab leader Sónia Cruz participated in the European Researchers’ Night in Lisbon, an annual event that brings science and researchers closer to the public. Sónia introduced our research on kleptoplastidic sea slugs, remarkable animals that can retain functional chloroplasts stolen from their algal food, through a short scientific pitch, followed by a Q&A session. She also took part in “Um Copo com Ciência” (“A Drink with Science”), an informal setting where researchers and members of the public come together over a drink to discuss science in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
