MP2Lab researcher Heta Mattila was awarded an Academy Research Fellowship 2025, a 4-year project for early-career researchers funded by the Research Council of Finland. The name of the project is “Photoprotection in macroalgae: molecular mechanisms and ecological significance”. Heta will be affiliated with the University of Turku in Finland, but will continue to collaborate with our lab. Congratulations and looking forward to see you back in Aveiro.
