I have a degree in Biology from the University of Aveiro (2004) and, on that year, I started my activity as a collaborator in the Criptogamic collection of the Botanical Garden – National Museum of Natural History. In June 2009, I completed the Master in Ecology from the Faculty of Science and Technology in the University of Coimbra (2009).  From 2005 until 2012, my professional activity has focused on projects regarding collections of Natural History and History of Science, in institutions such as the Museum of Science (Coimbra), Herbarium of the University of Coimbra, Herbarium of the University of Lisbon and Institute of Tropical Investigation (Lisbon). The main emphasis of these projects were on the taxonomic revision, synonymization and construction of databases for various plant groups. After 2012, in order to develop a greater number of professional skills, I worked in the field of ecology with practical applications, both in academic and business environments, mainly in collecting biological material, support in the experimental work and in the cultivation and maintenance of live organisms, namely insects, nudibranchs and microalgae. In 2014, I started as a Lab Technician at UA, currently on KleptoSlug project (CND-CTTRI-205-SGRH/2021). Logistics, supply, residue and inventory management are now my daily companions.
